Scott “Scooter” Altman has led Ģ����Ƶ Federal’s Space Operating Group as president for the past 6 years, with nearly 16 years at Ģ����Ƶ Federal. The newly created role of EVP of Strategic Engagement aims to improve enterprise-level stakeholder engagement by fostering stronger government and customer connections, building strategic partnerships, and aligning the workforce more closely with the company’s mission, including shareholder programs.����

Prior to his work with Ģ����Ƶ Federal, Altman was a NASA astronaut and shuttle commander, as well as a Navy aviator, retiring as a Captain. For his tremendous work in support of NASA’s mission, he was inducted in the Astronaut Hall of Fame and most recently was awarded the distinguished George C. Marshall Award in Ethical Leadership.������

Mike��Mazzella��to Lead��Space Operating Group��

Mike Mazzella spent over 30 years leading space and other civilian businesses at SAIC and has most recently been serving as Chief Operating Officer for the Space Operating Group for the past 18 months. During his time at SAIC, he led some of the fastest growing operating units. He steps into this role with deep knowledge of and respect for Ģ����Ƶ Federal’s history including its operations, culture and space team customers.����

Mazzella��holds an MS in engineering management from Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in computer science from the State University of New York��at Oswego.��

Ģ����Ƶ Federal��announced today that its joint venture��with ATCO,��, was awarded a 10-year U.S. Air Force contract to provide full-service facility operations and maintenance services at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, which comprises 15 remote long-range radar sites and two radio sites across Alaska, the largest base in the Pacific Air Force.

Originally��established��during��the��Cold War��as an early warning system to��protect��U.S. airspace, the Alaska Radar System (ARS)��remains��critical��to national security. Today, ARS provides��uninterrupted surveillance to the North American Aerospace Defense Command��(NORAD)��and the U.S. Northern Command. ARS also provides civil��aircraft��information to the Federal Aviation Administration.��

Under this contract, ARCTEC Alaska will��continue to��provide specialized��logistics��and management��expertise��to��put in place��appropriate equipment, supplies and staff to��meet mission needs.��ARCTEC has supported this program since 1994.��

Ģ����Ƶ Federal announced today that its subsidiary, Ģ����Ƶ Federal Facilities Logistics, won a contract valued at up to $2.3 billion from the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for supply chain management for its Chemicals and Packaged Petroleum Oils and Lubricants Performance 3rd Generation (ChemPOL III) program. Ģ����Ƶ Federal will manage DLA’s ChemPOL commodities, servicing more than 5,000 global U.S. installations as well as allied partners through Foreign Military Sales (FMS). The supply chain management and logistics team at Ģ����Ƶ Federal has supported this program since its inception in 2007.��

Services provided by Ģ����Ƶ Federal include precise demand planning, technical procurement, distribution hub management, and quality and obsolescence oversight. By accurately forecasting global demand, Ģ����Ƶ Federal maximizes readiness to the warfighter and allied partners��by��optimizing��inventory to achieve stringent on-time delivery metrics.��Ģ����Ƶ Federal’s��proprietary, integrated IT system enables real-time requisition processing, while a dedicated customer portal provides DLA with��constant��visibility of��ChemPOL��commodities.����
